COMPOSITE FROM WITNESSES ON MAN WHO EXPOSED HIMSELF TO CHILDREN

Below is a composite of a suspect who exposed himself to children at the Limetree Resort on Lido Beach on July 7, 2013.  Three witnesses came forward recently and provided excellent information for the composite.  The composite is also attached for better resolution.

MAN EXPOSES HIMSELF TO CHILDREN AT LIDO BEACH HOTEL

The Sarasota Police Department is investigating an indecent exposure in the presence of a child that happened on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at approximately 4:15 p.m. at the Limetree Beach Resort, 1050 Benjamin Franklin Drive, Sarasota.

Officers responded to the hotel lobby to meet with hotel management in reference to a complaint.  Officers spoke to the grandmother of two juvenile girls who said they were playing ping pong in the game room when a man came near them while he was masturbating and cursed at them.

The victims gave the following description:
White male
Late 20’s, early 30’s
5’9”
Thin
Facial Hair
Green Eyes
Wearing a black baseball cap, no shirt, black/blue/white flowery swim trunks
Bare feet

At approximately 5:40 p.m., a call was made again from the hotel stating the several people were chasing the suspect east towards Ted Sperling Park.  A perimeter was set up with negative results.  The suspect was seen wearing black swim trunks or long pants and carrying a dirty white shirt and carrying his flip flops.
