The Sarasota Police Department has a secure Drug Disposal Box available for public use. This program allows citizens to anonymously dispose of unused, unwanted, or expired prescription medications.   

Items placed in this box will need to be packed in the clear plastic bags provided, the bag will need to be sealed, and then placed the in the drug box.  Signage is posted on the Drug Disposal Box to assist citizens with proper disposal procedures.   

The Drug Disposal Box is located in the lobby of the Sarasota Police Department, 2099 Adams Lane, Sarasota, Florida, and can be accessed seven days a week between 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.
